Holy Family Virtual Services during COVID-19

During this time of “shelter in place” amidst the COVID-19 crisis, Holy Family is making every effort to bring our parish to you through the services of the internet.  Below we have outlined the many ways we are working to bring the liturgy to you.

MASSES: Fr. Joe will Live-Stream the celebration of Mass EVERY DAY at 10:00 a.m. The intentions for the weekend Masses will be as follows—the 4:30 Sat. evening intention will be celebrated on Saturday morning, & the Mass for the Parishioners (which every priest is to celebrate on Sunday) will be the Sunday morning intention. The other intention scheduled for Sunday morning will be rescheduled once Masses are back to normal & open to the public. ALSO, the Masses live-streamed will be through Facebook, with the Mass being posted to YouTube & the parish website (decaturholyfamily.com) immediately after each Mass.

ROSARY: Fr. Joe will pray the Rosary each day, live-streamed, at 1:30 p.m.

CONFESSIONS: Please DISREGARD the times listed in the March 22nd bulletin online stating that Father would have extra times for Confessions. With the “stay at home” restriction now, they are CANCELED.

CHURCH ENVELOPES: Even though our parish activities & school activities are shut down, our staff at school & the parish staff, as well as “normal, monthly” bills, need to be paid. Please do not forget to keep supporting Holy Family through your donations. You may mail them to us. Let’s continue to be the good stewards of treasure that we always are.

EMERGENCIES: If you experience a dire or critical emergency & need a priest, you may call the rectory at 423-6223.

MEETINGS: Any meeting scheduled with Fr. Joe is cancelled until the “stay at home” restriction is lifted. You need to protect yourself, as does he.

PARISH OFFICE: The office is closed until further notice. If you need information that is pressing, you may call the rectory.

INFORMATION: Check our parish website for any updates or pertinent information. Go to the website & click BULLETINS & you will find it.

Let us continue to pray for one another & all affected in any way by COVID-19. May the Lord’s healing & grace permeate our country & the world. Our faith is our rock at a time like this. Trust in Jesus with each breath you take.

My prayers daily, Father Joe
